Cooter Dee:

Cooter Dee  is considered one of the World's
Leading Country / Pop Radio & Dance Recording Artists.

There is not a senior citizen home or Shriner’s convention that hasn’t experienced the sound of a Cooter Dee tune and the tippee tap tap of their feet as they frolick to the sounds of a Cooter Dee song.  Yet Country music radio programmers insist on keeping Cooter’s music a big secret.  Cooter believes that radio programmers actually call up new and upcoming programmers with the message “Shhh, keep it a secret and don’t tell anybody about Cooter
Dee.”

Traveling 375 days a year on a diet mostly consisting of Fried Chicken and Cheetoes, Cooter will find himself in the midst of hundreds of his dancing fans one night and the next night his listening fans get their turn to experience the sounds of Cooter.  Once, both sets of fans were in the same room and all heck broke loose.  Cooter had to take cover under a garbage can of his old discarded chicken wings just to stay away from the crossfire.  Whether it’s a show at the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not museum or in front of Buckingham Palace while folks are awaiting the changing of the guards and knocking Cooter out of their view, he will create such an impression on you that you will never ever forget him no matter how hard you try.

Spending three months a year entertaining at men’s prison facilities, and another three months as a member of them due to his various arrests for false piracy charges leaves little time for USA shows.   But Cooter still plans a huge tour next year that will include a few dates for the Americans.

Cooter records and releases ten or so albums each year and although none of them have sold squat due to all of the music piracy out there, he still plans to release even more next year.  ”Low Expectations” was voted Album Of The Year in 1999 at the Joliet State Prison.  Each year he has found himself nominated by the folks at the Association Of Seniors With Disabilities, but ultimately has lost out to Charo each year.

Cooter holds the Pakistani title "Country Dance Artist Of The Year" for 1997, 1998, 1999 & 2000 until his titles were stripped away by the Taliban along with threats never to enter the country again.  This year he was inducted into the Senior Citizen Dance
Hall
Of Fame for 2000. You might have seen him perform during the 1985 Canadian Toddler’s Diaper Toss or during the Half-time show at the Taco Bell Monster Car Truck Rally back in 1995.
He is also the "singing voice" heard on the
Roach Motel TV Commercials heard exclusively in the Portsmouth NH area before being pulled.

For those who live in the USA, you will soon find Cooter exclusively associated with the Homeless Olympics!  Cooter is working hand in hand in introducing Linedancing to the homeless to give them something to do between poking around for garbage and begging for money.
Cooter plans to be the only artist to play to the homeless.

Meanwhile, back in Biloxi, MS. where he now lives (when he’s not in prison  or helping old ladies across the street), he runs his own chicken joint where he delivers only the highest quality fried foods to his dancing fans.
