Pink Lady can't wait to share the stage with ! |
's September Newsletter
So let’s start things off with hot news regarding all of my travels. I just got back from a road trip to Spain where I heard my hit song "Frizzy" on the radio! That was such a treat to be driving down the road and hear my voice just booming over the car speakers without it coming from my CD player. I hear that the song has hit the top 100 on the charts there. I plan to reproduce the chart and share it with all of you on my website. I then flew onto New Guinea where I did an event for the Demolition Dancers. This is a group of 5 dancers who were celebrating their 8th annual country music festival. Let me tell you it was super! My show was just wonderful and everyone was amazed at my music! The weather held up and I gotta tell you I was taken back with the response. A cameraman walking by was also there and I grabbed and asked him to film me so that he could send me some footage that I will add as streamline video to my website. These 5 dancers came from miles and miles just to see me in all of my glory! I can’t wait to share with you all of the pictures of the smiling faces as I sang and joked around with them. Great news. I am in the final negotiation stages of having my song Manny The Mannequin, featured in an upcoming ad campaign for the Dress Barn retail chain! I hope to get another hot choreographer to come out with a new dance to it since none of you seemed to take to the first one. That way, you all can dance while you watch the ads. I also will be featured on ABC-TV's #2 rated morning show, Good Morning America on October 4th. I have been given front row priority standing with the crowd outside the studio. Watch for me joking and chatting with weatherman Tony Perkins as he has promised to stick the microphone in my face sometime during the 8:00 hour. So I expect you’ll all be there watching for me. I am off to Singapore this weekend to promote the release of my album, ’s Handpicked Best Of. I know most of you here in the US already have it but we had to secure a record deal to properly release it. So Electricity Records will have it in many of the Local Drug Stores and Mini-Marts there. Hopefully, I’ll have a picture or two showing folks purchasing the CD. I will be working the Macarena Festival, the 32nd largest dance festival in Singapore. I am really excited about that as not only will I do the dance venues with the hot pop group Pink Lady, I will be allowed on the main stage this time. Hope to see some of you there. Please check out my tour schedule and look for my next song from "Counterfeit Blues" to be released in Thailand shortly.

Line Dancing is still so very popular in Thailand. That’s because they dance to all of my music and they have not been invaded by all of that awful disco music (except for my Could You Please CD, which was the only disco album allowed at their venues.) And speaking of Could You Please, I hear that an awful counterfeiter is responsible for the closing of another Tower Records store in the US. My Cooter’s (that’s slang for ’s resources) tell me that this person sold over 500 illegal copies of this CD out of his home and put the store out of business. And you know if I got this information from a Cooter, it has to be true cause they don’t lie or fabricate their information to me! Please check your CD and if you find it to be counterfeit, I urge all of you to throw it away now and purchase a legal copy from me. And even if you’re not sure if it’s real, just to be safe, you should support your local music establishment and buy another genuine CD. Otherwise, we won’t have any more music stores left to purchase our music from! See you soon! Love,
