Hello Dancers and Country Music Fans,
As you all know,
I truly believe that if it’s not happening to me, it’s not happening! And
as my loyal fans, I know you have to be wondering what’s been happening with
me or you wouldn’t be reading this. (Ha, Ha – Just a bit of Cooter Humor).
I just can't believe I have been home in Biloxi, MS. for about a week.
Prison takes a lot out of a man, but as long as there are piracy issues to
fight for, I’m gonna risk the false ones in order to get at the real
culprits out there! It
is so hot this time of year. But I do love my city and I have spent a great
deal of time
downtown as we are rebuilding and cleaning up all of my Chicken Shack
restaurants. . I also spent some time working with my secret underground
spy group as we talked over coffee and discussed which of my
songs they enjoy the most. Then we all feasted on some Chicken Wings and
Cherry Burpees.
After all that activity, I took a much needed nap and headed to the Wax Museum in my never ending campaign to add my likeness to the list of superstars that were born and raised in Biloxi. So far, I’m on a waiting list that I have yet to see, but I’m sure exists.
You know, I’ve been looking for a good classy restaurant that serves Cherry Burpees for quite sometime, but in all of my travels, haven’t been able to locate one. I’m hoping that some of you might be able to assist me in my quest. Let me know if you can help Cooter out here folks!
My brother Moosey is coming to town soon and we both wouldn’t mind traveling if we could have ourselves a nice cold one. We plan to go to Mac’s Truckstop next week where I plan to sing a song or two. I realize Biloxi is a great place to visit with great food and really great food. So if you're in town, make sure to visit the house of Debi Boone, who once sang “You Light Up My Life" in that very house . What a wonderful story it is on how she came to sing one of the most famous songs that is also one of the most famous movies ever created. (I know I saw it several times!) Then we strolled thru Sally’s Strawberry Orchard and narrowly escaped another arrest for sampling a few pieces of fruit. Sally can be such a fickle person. One day she’s your friend, the next day she’s got a shotgun and threatening a lawsuit. As if I’ve never faced that a couple thousand times! Hey, when you’re a star like me, it comes with the territory.
Our Linedancing
is not the greatest here in Biloxi, and they don’t seem to play any of my
tunes here. WE do
have the 152nd largest "Honky Tonk" or Country Nightclub in the USA right at
our backdoor.
It is called Critters and is where I used to cut my dance and music videos.
It has a dance
floor that holds 10 and a club that holds 50. Friends of famous country singers come in
once a
week and we just had Lari White’s cousin Emma here along with Joe Templeton,
who once subbed for Garth Brooks’ backup singer one night when he gave him
food poisoning. It was great to see them as I used to go hunting with Emma
and I grew up down the road from Joe, where he always ignored me, even today
when I’m this big star.
Emma and I keep looking for places to dance, but usually end up at one of my
Chicken Shack restaurants where we suck down dozens of my world famous
chicken wings. It's not that we don't like country music, but Biloxi is considered an International City now
with almost
50,000 people. Our music scene is mostly Rap thanks to all of those young
whippersnappers who haven’t found the respect for my music that their
ancestors have.. But if you
get a chance to see me in Biloxi, it is a trip worth while and the first
Chicken Shack is only 4 hours away.

I've been recording my Hanukah album and I've got some SPECTACULAR tunes that sure do make me happy to sing for all of you. (Just ask Inga!) I am so happy to finally be doing a full length Holiday CD. So many people were upset with me charging full price for a CD with only 3 short tunes on it, but heck each had come with Cooter sanctioned choreography and optional step sheets that only costed an extra $2.00. Hey folks, it’s a business and you need to keep supporting me. But, this year I’ve decided to bless you all and say thank you with a full length CD that I've discounted to $16.99 if you order before Thanksgiving!
I'm also working pretty close with the Homeless Olympics in an effort to introduce Linedancing into all the 3 Homeless Olympic Games!!! We have so many homeless winos who dance and what better place to strut their stuff than at the Homeless Olympics, where my music is the only music you can hear for miles! I met with the City Board and the meeting went great. After chaining myself to the building and singing selections from my Would You Please Save Me album, they finally agreed to moving forward with putting a Cooter Day or Night into each game. And for social exercise, we plan to chug ripple and line dance the night away! I will be for sure performing at the Mississippi Homeless Games next spring with 10+ Homeless Dancers on stage with me. The Games will host Competitors and Spectators in numbers from four to sixteen or so in the 10 Days they go on.

On our Linedance Day in May, we will have 10-18, attend. Which reminds me, if you are a homeless person traveling and looking for a place to dance, then make sure you get your butt down here. We plan to have free ripple as well as some Mad Dog 20/20 for the first 20 winos that show up at the Destitute Stadium door. It may take a lot of panhandling depending on where you live, so start now and hopefully you’ll get here by springtime. This was the latest on an instructor caught burning and selling illegal CD's. They won't give me his name till he is charged. (Darn.....) But I don't bother waiting for the authorities to get around to doing their job and when my Cooter’s tell me that it’s none other than Robert Stiller of Morgantown, WV., I trust this source and have no problem posting his pic.

More than 500 counterfeit CD-Rs were seized (most of them containing material!), together with a computer system and CD writers, following a joint raid. The 36-year-old man was arrested, tarred and feathered.
